Empty Net Blog Tour Sign-Ups

Hey everyone

So I have decided to get into the blog tour business. I'm starting out slow to see how it goes and to see if I can handle everything! And if enough people are interested I'll see about doing some more!!!

So I am partnering with my lovely author best buddy Toni Aleo for a blog tour for October!!! Exciting right? I think so!! So here is what is going to happen:

I have created a Google doc for everyone to sign up on.

Please if you are interested in participating in her Empty Net tour, sign up!!!
The schedule is below and pick a day and post you would like to do!
Also if you can think of something else you would like to do, let me know!!
Thanks everyone and lets make this a success!!!

by Toni Aleo

Definition of an Empty Net: When a team pulls the goalie for an extra attacker, desperately seeking a goal.

Audrey Parker was in a horrible place.

She hated her job, her sister was getting married and moving out, but worst of all, she was in love with a total jerk. No matter what she did, every guy she met hurt her. All she wanted was her happily ever after. Her Prince Charming. Her Lucas Brooks! She didn’t know how to change her life but she knew she needed too.

Feeling like she was about to hit rock bottom, Audrey wakes up next to Tate Odder.

Tate Odder had lost everything.

After being brought up from the Assassins’ farm team, the Florida Rays to the Nashville Assassins, Tate hopes he’ll forget everything he has lost. He doesn’t. Each day gets harder to live in a place he doesn’t know. Even being the first rookie goalie to shut out an opposing team three times during the Lord Stanly Cup Finals, he still felt empty. With the loss of his parents and sister still heavy on his heart, Tate isn’t sure how to live like everything is okay.

But when he wakes up beside Audrey Parker, things start to change. She turns his life upside down with her kooky sense of humor and her bright clothing. She is intelligent and beautiful, and for once, he doesn’t feel empty.

Will Audrey be the person to fill the holes in Tate’s heart, making him whole again?

Or will another player ruin everything, leaving him feeling forever like an empty net?

Please fill out THIS FOURM and also let others know if they are interested!! If we have more people that want to be on the tour than stops I may add some!! (This book has mature content, it is advisable that you are over 18 to be on this tour)

ALSO something to think about when you sign up, it would be most helpful if you choose interview or guest post to have an idea of what you would like and also to get your questions ready. If chosen for those post, I will be asking for that info in the first email.

Waiting On Wednesday (42): Deity & Elixer

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Jill of Breaking the Spine where you have a chance to let other know what you can’t wait to claim as your own.

by Jennifer L. Armentrout
Expected publication: November 6th 2012 by Spencer Hill Press

History is on repeat, and things didn't go so well the last time.

Alexandria isn't sure she's going to make it to her eighteenth birthday—to her Awakening. A long-forgotten, fanatical order is out to kill her, and if the Council ever discovers what she did in the Catskills, she’s a goner... and so is Aiden.

If that's not freaky enough, whenever Alex and Seth spend time "training"—which really is just Seth's code word for some up-close and personal one-on-one time—she ends up with another mark of the Apollyon, which brings her one step closer to Awakening ahead of schedule. Awesome.

But as her birthday draws near, her entire world shatters with a startling revelation and she’s caught between love and Fate. One will do anything to protect her. One has been lying to her since the beginning. Once the gods have revealed themselves, unleashing their wrath, lives will be irrevocably changed... and destroyed.

Those left standing will discover if love is truly greater than Fate...

by Jennifer L. Armentrout

Expected publication: November 2012 by Spencer Hill Press
Aiden's novella

Aiden St. Delphi will do anything to save Alex.
Even if it means doing the one thing he will never forgive himself for.
Even if it means making war against the gods.

Why I need these: It's no secret that I love Jen’s Lux series and it shouldn’t be a surprise that I also lover her other series (although the Lux wins out as my fav) so I really LOVE this series and can't wait to get Elixer. You say why not Deity also? Confession: I already have this puppy waiting for me!!! Another confession: I still have to read Pure! *Hides from the stones and pitch forks* I'll get on it don’t worry!!! If you haven’t heard of this series, PICK UP HALF BLOOD and a glass of wine (or coffee) and go enjoy!! You wont be disappointed!

What are you waiting on?

Authors Are Rockstars Tour: Tara Fuller Stops by With Finn and Easton

Hey everyone and welcome to my stop on the Authors Are Rockstars Tour! I am here today with an AMAZING author and on a super special day also!!! My rockstar is Tara Fuller, author of the books Perigee Moon and Inbetween, book one is the The Kissed By Death Series.

Tara Fuller
Why is Tara my rock star? Well aside from the fact that her Mama named her right, she is such an amazing woman and talented author. And I have it on good authority that she might have reenacted some parts of Risky Business!!! I have loved Tara’s work since reading Perigee Moon earlier this year and any time I feature her books on my blog or feel like I'm going to die if I don't get Cash's story now, she is always around to talk! She might be a rockstar but she is also a great friend! And I love that in my authors! Her interaction with her fans and her incredible characters really makes her stand out from the rest!

I love all of her books and will ALWAYS read what she writes!!!

Also she recently sent me this

I seriously did not put her up to that!!!

Ok well I may tweet Wonder Tara’s Unite every time I talk to her, but really I didn’t maker her do that!! She did it all on her own!! Major rockstar status achieved!

So aside from the fact I'm here to gush about Tara, I have super special treats for everyone!!!! As part of the AARS stop I have the lovely Finn and Easton here for an interview!!

ALSO today is a special day because her book, Inbetween is out!!!

So we have a HAPPY BOOK BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!

As part of that special treat, Entangled is letting me giveaway a copy!! Whoooo hooo!!!! See it’s like you are actually at a rock concert!!!

So lets get to the show!

Up first I have the sexy boys from the Inbetween Series, Finn and Easton.

Hello boys, thanks for stopping by. I have to say, I'm rather excited to have you both here.

Finn: Anything for you Tara. *winks*
Easton: Don’t you have a girlfriend, Finn? Or do you intend to woo the entire living female population? *rolls eyes* Anyway, nice to be here Tara.

Tara: Oh boys, you are making me flush. It's lovely to have both of you here.

I'm excited you both took time out of your busy schedules to chat with me, so let’s get started.
How long have the both of you been around (i.e. when were you born, when did you die, when did you become a reaper)?

Finn: I was born in 1924. Bit the dust in 1942. They made me a reaper right away. It was that or Hell.

Easton: That or Hell? Funny. I didn’t get the choice. Hmmm…it’s been a while for me. I died in the 1600’s. I’ll leave it at that for now.

Tara: Mmm Easton, I see you are going to be a bit modest today…I like that.
Why did you choose to become a reaper?

Finn: It was that or Hell for us.

Easton: *laughs* It was still Hell for me anyway. *nudges Finn* See Finn, you’re not the only one that knows how to charm the ladies. She likes the strong silent type.

Tara: Hahaha I can tell you two are going to be trouble...of the best kind! And you got me East, I do like the strong silent time.

Easton, love- How did you get to be the reaper of Hell?

Easton: Let’s just say I’ve never had great people skills.

Finn: *laughs* That’s an understatement.
Easton: Seriously, could you see me in one of those white boy band jackets those pretty boy Heaven reapers wear? I didn’t think so.

Tara: Haha I, for one, would love to see you in one of those, I love a good man in black, but I think white would be good on your skin tone.

Easton: Sweetheart, I’d look good in any color. *winks* Wouldn’t I Finn?

Finn: Are you trying to make throw up?

Tara: Haha I'll bet you do!!! And if you are going to puke, please not on me.

Finn- How did you get to be the reaper of the Inbetween?

Finn: It wasn’t really a choice. It’s just where Balthazar thought I fit best.

Tara: Fascinating, this Balthazar guy.

Easton: *snorts* Yeah. Fascinating. That’s one word for him.

Tara: What was it like watching the world grow and change?

Finn: Lonely.

Easton: God, you are such a pansy.
Finn: What? You don’t think it’s lonely watching the world grow and change while you stay the same? Invisible.
Easton: *shrugs* Maybe. But you don’t hear me saying that shit out loud.

Tara: Aww boys it can’t be that bad. I for one would love to have been around for some of the greatest moments of are our world. The industrial revolution, the change in the 60’s, the beautiful moments of discovering under the sea.
Greatest moment in history you witnessed?

Finn: Man walking on the moon for the first time. That one wasn’t something I ever thought I’d see. Remember when you let that poor bastard choke on a chicken bone for like ten minutes so we could watch it on his TV? Balthazar was so pissed.
Easton: *laughs* I had it under control. Besides, you’re right. That was pretty freaking amazing.

Tara: Easton, what is your greatest moment?

Easton: My greatest moment? Hmmm… There are so many to choose from. *laughs* To tell you the truth, and I am really going to regret saying this later, but the day I reaped Finn. He was a good kid. He didn’t really deserve the place he was going. I don’t stick my neck out there for people. Ever. But with him, I couldn’t turn my back on it. So I took him to Balthazar and he got a shot to do something different…and it felt good. A guy like me doesn’t get the chance to save many people. So when it happens, it kind of sticks with you, you know?

Finn: Oh, Easton…I love you too. *makes kissing noises*
Easton: *Punches Finn in the arm.* See. I already regret it.
Tara: Oh East, *swoons* that is so sweet. I can't believe I just told the reaper from hell he was sweet.

Moment you wish to forget?

Finn: Which one? The day I left for the air force I guess. I left Mama crying in the kitchen. Never saw her again. I’d give anything to change that. Or at least forget it.

Easton: I try not to remember any of them.

Tara: Easton- Has there ever been anybody special in your life? A special lady? *wink wink*

Easton: No way. Never. I never had time for that crap. Besides *waves at Finn* See what girls do? His brain turns to the equivalent of goo when you mention that human girls name.

Tara: You never wanted someone to come home to at the end of the day?

Easton: Maybe…maybe when I was alive. If I’d gotten the chance. Not now. I don’t have anything to offer anyone anymore.

Tara: Awww I think you just broke a few hearts...including mine.
Finn- Can you describe Emma in five words?

Finn: Only five? Sexy as hell-
Easton: Hell isn’t sexy you moron.
Finn: Will you let me answer a damn question? Anyway. Sexy as hell, smart, kind…Are you sure I can only have five?
Easton: Annnd this is why I don’t mess with girls. I might throw myself in Hell if I ever sounded like you.
Finn: *grins at Easton* You’re just jealous.

Tara: Did you know you are naturally adding blush to your cheeks Finn? I love hearing you talk about her that way.
Finn- What was it like being a fighter pilot? Did you always want to do it (my grandpa was a pilot, and he loved it!)

Finn: Glad to know I’m in good company! God…there aren’t even words. Don’t get me wrong, sometimes it was scary as Hell. But more often than not is was freaking amazing. And it’s what I wanted to do for as far back as I can remember. Dad got me started on planes real young, so I could help dust the crops.

Tara: I don’t know what it is about pilots, but they sure like to start young. My grandpa knew in grade school that’s what he wanted to do. He was a bit of a rebel also and buzzed a few cotton fields in his early times.

Easton- What did you do before you died?

Easton: At one point I was a blacksmith. Just like my father. But after that…You really don’t want to know. My real life wasn’t far off from what I do now.

Tara: You, my dear are one mystery. I think you underestimate yourself. Blacksmith you say? I'll bet you were good with your hands *winks*
Tell me something about you that we don’t learn about in the book?

Easton: Besides the fact that a human chick is carrying his balls around in her purse?

Finn: Don’t be an ass. She was talking to me. I swear…I can’t wait till your book comes out. Anyway, I love baseball. I used to play with my brother. And for the record, Emma doesn’t have know, in her…never mind.

Tara: Hahahah…Easton? Anything we can know about you? Other than you like to pick on Finn?

Easton: I…okay, okay. I grew up in Bavaria, Germany. You know, when I had a heart beat and all that. My father died when I was very young. I lived with my two sisters, and my mother of course. There was joy in my life at one point, I’m sure… but after everything that happened, it’s hard to remember that now.

Tara: Germany, really? I have always wanted to go there some day.
Boys, Describe the perfect day. Who would you be with and what would you do?

Finn: It would great to take Emma flying. I don’t think it could get any better than that.

Tara: Easton?

Easton: A day off. Even if it was just staring at a brick wall. One day where I didn’t have to venture into the flaming pits of Hell. That would be great.

Tara: I can think of some more beautiful things to stare at than a brick wall.

If you could have one wish, no questions, what would it be and why?

Finn: To be alive. For a million reasons. But the top reason? Emma.
Easton: *rolls his eyes* Wishful thinking.

Red Vines or Twizlers? I’ve never had either. But I’ll go with Twizlers. The name sounds cool anyway.
Sweet or salty? Hmmm…sweet for sure.
Coke or Pepsi? Coke
City or Mountain? Mountains
Beach or River? River
Burger or steak? Damn…these are really cruel question considering I can’t eat anymore. Burger.
Day or night? Day
Brown or Blue eyes? Blue
Blond or brown hair? Blond
Favorite color? Blue
Favorite place? I miss my Dad’s farm. I think that will always be my favorite place.
Sneakers or Boots? Finn: Sneakers
Easton: *Plops his black combat books onto the table and grins* Boots.

Tara: Easton, do you always let Finn talk?? Care to tell me more? Or do I have to have you back another time?? Cuz you know, I don’t mind spending more time with you.

Easton: Usually. He’ so damn charming and all. Alright, you want an insider secret. Hmm… I know. Girls always want to know if guys where boxers or briefs, right? Seems like I read that somewhere.

Finn: Yeah, probably in your subscription to Cosmo Girl.
Easton: Haha. God, you’re so funny, Finn. Now you’ve ruined my set up. I was about to blow your mind with something incredibly witty, and now you’ll never know what is was. Your loss. Anyway, I wear briefs. And yes, reapers wear underwear too.

Tara: JACKPOT!!!!! *composes self* I mean, that is one of the best pieces of information I have gotten in a long while. I have to say though, East, I picture you as the comando type. Thanks you East, love. And whenever you want to tell me you incredibly witty opener, let me know!
Thanks you boys very much for stopping by, I really enjoyed being in the same room with the both of you. I’ll let you go because I know you’ve both got work to do.

Finn: Thanks for having us Tara. It was fun.

Easton: Yeah, hope to visit again real soon. But I gotta run now. You know, places to go, people to reap.

I just love those boys even more!!!!

Temptations With Tater (41): Through The Ever Night

Does a regular Teaser Tuesday leave you feeling empty? Do you always post a whole paragraph in your teaser and never the one to two sentences as the rules state? Do you every just want to type the whole damn book because it is that amazing? Yeah, me too!! Temptations With Tater is a super charged Teaser Tuesday. Inspired by MizB's (Should Be Reading) Teaser Tuesday and Nicole's (The Reader's Antidote) Tempt Me Thursdays, TWT let's you really, REALLY tease your readers!

The rules are very similar to TT but super charged:
  • Step 1: Grab your current read (or most recent read)
  • Step 2: Select a page with a tantalizing juicy passage.
  • Step 3: Share a sentence, paragraph or part of the whole page, something that is tempting, tantalizing and will be sure to make the readers want this book bad!
  • Step 4: Don’t forget to tell us what book so we can add it to our list and cheat on our TBR piles.
Now, onto the teasing!

So today is kind of a problem. The book I recently finished is SOOOOOOOOO amazing but is also kind of full of spoilers!!! But damn is it ever good!!! Anyways, what I share with you today is one moment that just made my whole world stop. It was utterly breathtaking. I soooo hope that you enjoy it!!

Through The Ever Night
by Verionica Rossi
Roar lead her along a trail that wove through sand dunes. Aether light filtered through the clouds, casting a glow over the path and the tall, rustling grass. As they walked, a rushing sound mixed with the low whistle of the wind. It moved though her—hiss and whisper and roar—growing louder and clearer with every step she took.

Aria stopped as they came over the last dune. The ocean stretched out before her, alive, spreading to the end of everything. She heard a million waves, each one distinct, ferocious, but together a chorus that was serene and grander than anything shed ever known. Shed seen the ocean plenty of times in the Realms, but it hadn’t prepared her for the real thing. ~ARC p. 36

Totally amazing right??
I hope you all enjoy!! Only a few more months before you can hold this puppy all to yourself!!

Painted Blind Blog Tour: Excerpt & Tour Giveaways

Hello my crunch Tots!
Today I'm very excited to bring you an super fun excerpt from the novel Painted Blind by MIchelle A Hansen. And what is super awesome about this excerpt is that it's not just a super charged teaser, its the prologue!!!! WAY FUN! And Michelle has also come with some great goodies!!

by Michelle A. Hansen

Seventeen years old and agoraphobic, Psyche Middleton vows her dad will never see the risqué photos she took during a summer modeling stint abroad, but one of them ends up on a billboard in her Montana hometown. Now everyone—especially her dad—can see it. And yet, somehow, those are the mundane things in her life. That is because she is about to fall unexpectedly, head-over-heels in love with Erik, a mysterious young man who rescues her from a crowd of admirers, and who she’s actually never seen because…he can make himself invisible.

As strange as this may seem, it’s about to get even stranger. Erik takes her to his palace in an idyllic kingdom, and she is swept into the beauty and culture of his world, but his affection has one condition: she may not see him. Overtaken, intrigued, and not wholeheartedly believing he's real, she is going to have to decide if she can love him blindly. Because if she can’t, she may lose him forever.

A wild, romantic adventure that travels at breakneck speed, Michelle A. Hansen’s debut is a fantastical journey filled with laughter, danger, and the indomitable power of love.

Painted Blind reminds us that one can overcome seemingly insurmountable odds with fortitude and a little luck and is a testament to the fact that real love is worth fighting for.

(The Prologue)
It was always a bad sign when his mother arrived before breakfast. The horses were in the courtyard. She hated waiting, so the young man slowly poured himself a glass of orange juice and cut another slice of warm cinnamon bread.
He existed; that was enough to anger her. She could rage all she wanted. He didn’t really care. When the glass was empty, he dragged himself off the stool and adjusted his sash. Before leaving the kitchen he set his shoulders back and made his expression pleasant.
His gait was confident. Most would say he inherited his mother’s pride along with her beauty, but the young man disagreed. His character was molded by humble hands not of his blood, and he was forever indebted. “Mother, to what do I owe this unexpected visit?”
The sun glistened into a halo on his mother’s hair as she took him by the shoulders and kissed his cheek. If only she were as angelic as her face. “I don’t need a reason to visit.” But she always had one. She’d traveled without maids. A personal matter. Only her bodyguard, Theron, stood beside her.
Theron was not welcome here, and she knew it. He was closer to the young man’s age than her own, and that was the least of his flaws. His greater crimes were known by all and spoken of by no one.
The mother sank onto a pillowed chair in the parlor. There was no need for pretended niceties. “Have you seen this?” She motioned to Theron, who pulled from his cloak a fashion magazine made by mortals. He offered it to the young man open to a dog-eared page.
The spread was a modern take on a familiar scene, and the girl on the page was stunning, even to immortal eyes. “It’s just an advertisement,” he said.
His mother’s expression went hard. “It’s an insult.” She smoothed a lock of hair from her face. “I want you to avenge me.”
“Me?” He glanced at Theron, confused. Dirty errands were her lover’s specialty. The young man wanted no part of it.
“I went to see her, but she was gone,” Theron replied, clearly disappointed.
The son looked at the photo again and tried to stifle the shudder in his chest. This mortal girl had no idea how lucky she was—how close she’d come to living her worst nightmares. Other mortals had not been so fortunate.
Theron offered him a card. There was a name and address printed on it. Now he understood why they were here. He owed his mother nothing. “And if I don’t?”
“I’ll send Theron to deal with it.” She threw an affectionate glance at her bodyguard, who grinned.
“Not in my kingdom.”
His mother stood. “She’s mortal. Technically, it’s not your…” She broke off when her son’s fists balled and his shoulders tightened. He was hot-blooded, and it pleased her. That made him even angrier, so he sighed and stood expressionless as she drew nearer. “You’ll do as I ask,” she whispered.
He had no legal recourse when it came to mortals, and he wouldn’t allow the girl to be brutalized. “What do you want me to do? Dust her?” He laughed. Really, it was ridiculous. All of this over a stupid photograph.
“I want you to dispose of her to the most despicable creature you can find.”
Ironic choice of words. The most despicable creature alive was standing right in front of him holding his mother’s cloak. “Fine.” His mother waited until he muttered, “Yes, I’ll do it,” through gritted teeth. It took great will for him to offer, “Will you stay and dine?” as the cook entered with a tray for the guests.
“Thank you, but no.” As soon as she got what she wanted, his mother retreated quickly. “Before the next moon, or we’ll deal with it ourselves.”
He didn’t see them out. When they were gone, he showed the advertisement to the cook. “Local girl. Familiar name, too.”
“Are you going to do it?” Her expression tossed a dagger of guilt into his heart, but he nodded.
The alternative was worse.

Sweet Evil Blog Tour: Kaidan Interview, Review & Giveaway

Sooooooo welcome to my stop on the Sweet Evil blog tour. Today’s post is an incredibly amazing one!!! Our every so sexy drummer, Kaidan Rowe, approached me recently asking if I would like to sit down for an interview!!! I jumped on the chance to just be in the same state as that sexy man so interview him was like a dream!! And I told him that and he was all No luv, I want to interview you!!! So after I passed out I screamed YES YES YES!!!!!
Me, when I heard the news!
Now I am going to try and be as coherent as possible and try not to get all puddle of goo on you (which probably won’t work out so well, considering I'm already starting to goo!)

So without further a due here is our amazing interview!

Kaidan: Tara, how are you today, luv?

Tara: *flushes from head to toe* Well hello Kaidan, luv, I have to say, you have quite a stimulating presence!! I am a bit sleepy, haven't gotten my coffee yet, but you sure have made my day better! ;)

Kaidan: *grins* So, you're a book blogger? I'm a bit of an idiot about these things. Is there a certain type of book you gravitate toward?

Tara: I wouldn't say you are an idiot, you just haven't gotten to know this wonderful world of book blogging yet. And I am more than happy to show you around! My blog I guess is classified as a young adult book blog. However, I like to bend the rules and do my own thing. It really has all kinds of books on there, any book that I love gets attention. That can mean a book about a sinful group of characters ;) or it can mean the latest hockey romance book. I love any book or story that can hold my interest and take me on an amazing journey.

Kaidan: Hockey romance book? Sounds...interesting. Is that the sort of thing you like, then? Romance rubbish--er, stuff? How good can book snogging really be?

Tara: Mmm yes. Can you say snogging again? Your Britishness makes me flutter.
I love me some hockey! And it helps when there is some smexy hockey player is getting it on with his lady.
And trust me, book snogging can be something quite tantalizing when done right.
See (brings out a book) I'll read you one of my favs:

"I clasped his cheeks. They were warm, like always--a touch of sunlight. His skin was smooth and hummed under my hands. I leaned in, and he didn't move...or breathe. Like, at all. Knowing that I could do that to him filled me with a heady rush of power.

Closing my eyes, I brushed my lips over his.

Can you guess what book
this quote is from?!?! Photo hint!
"Kitten," he growled roughly.

I kissed him softly, sliding my hands into his silky locks, letting the pieces slid through my fingers. I tasted in him my own rising desire, my own need and heartaches. Thrilling.

Frightening. I pulled back.

"Kitten," he said again, voice strained. "You don't get to do that and then stop. That's not how it works." I stared at him, my breath stalling in my lungs.

"Not when you're mine." Daemon backed us up and slid down the wall , pulling me onto his lap so I was straddling him.

"And you're mine."

I placed my hands on his shoulders as he brought my mouth to his. This kiss was lazy, exploratory...and sensual. For once, I wasn't fighting the depth of my response. I welcomed it, thrived in the warmth ripping through me. I deepened the kiss. He made a sound in the back of his throat, and his arms wrapped around me, pinning me to him."

Now tell me, Mr. Brit, did that not excite you in the slightest way?

Kaidan: (with a raised eyebrow) I think this Daemon bloke and I could get along. And in all seriousness I did learn a little something during training about how lust can infiltrate everywhere, even literature, but I just hadn't, er, read any myself. I feel a bit more worldly now that you've taken my book-snogging innocence, Tara.
And since we're on the subject, what exactly do you look for in a boy when you're reading? And in real life? *scoots closer*

Tara: Mmm I would love to be in the same room with the two of you.
And my luv, Kai, I can introduce you to more than book snogging. What I just read is a bit...tame compared to what I have read recently. Maybe your father needs to branch out and look into more "book-snogging" books ;) I hear it’s taking off quite well.
Now, sweetness, shouldn't you already know what I like in a boy?
But since you are so close, did I tell you that you smell nice? Anyways, I'm getting distracted. Back to boys—in books, lately I have been into the bad boys. I don't know when I changed from liking the charming, good boy to the bad boy, but I like the bit of danger and passion that they hold. And you know that there is more to them under all the hard charm they show to the world. For example, I am very much in love with Daemon, Travis Maddox (Beautiful Disaster), Kraven (Dark Kiss) and of course you my love. Some snark, confidence and enjoyment in making girls swoon all over is a turn on. It also helps when it’s wrapped in a tall, dark and incredibly sexy package. Dark hair, smoldering eyes and washboard abs will do me in.
Now in the real world, I love a guy who can make me laugh, can make me feel sexy when I feel like shit, and someone who can surprise me. I also don’t mind a bit of danger and excitement from my man.

Kaidan: So, you only like bad boys under the safety net of fiction? I see how it is. *winks* Don't worry, I'm taking the mick with you.

Tara: Well, Kai, I would love the chance to explore and fun with the bad boys, but my man wouldn't be too happy if I did!
And I'm sorry my british is a bit rusty, what is taking the mick

Kaidan: Right. Taking the's like...joking around, I guess you'd say.
Alright then, next question. What do you do when you're not reading and - what was the word again? - ah, swooning over fictional abs?
My Emmett, reading buddy, snuggle buddy,
and all around goofball!

Tara: In my spare time when I am not reading, I spend a lot of time with my dog who can be a handful sometimes. I also enjoy going to the movies, just saw The Dark Knight, which was an ok movie. Also saw Ted recently, which made me pee my pants it was so funny! I also love to spend time with my friends and go to the beach, but the traffic is always so bad to the beach its not worth going. I also enjoy going to theme parks, like Disneyland and such. I always love a good thrill ride! ;)

Kaidan: A good thrill ride, eh? I could go for that, too. (Of course I'm referring to theme parks, as well. Mostly.)
Okay, now don't be too sad, luv, but this is our last question. If you could be the daughter of any of the 12 Dukes of Evil, which would it be? (Wrath, Sloth/Gluttony, Lust, Hatred, Murder, Lies, Envy, Substance Abuse, Adultery, Theft, Greed, or Pride)

Tara: Awwww, excuse me as my heart breaks a bit hon, this interview has been the highlight of my week.
And what a question to ask. This one is so hard because I have never though of myself as a bad influence. I would have to say Lust, and that’s not just to get closer to you! If I had to, I would rather give someone a moment of pleasure and a brief moment of happiness than anything else. Although in the end, they are destroyed, they got to go out happy. As that famous saying goes, it’s better to have loved and lost than to never have loved at all. Lust and love are often confused as the same, but I think it is better to make someone think they are in love than make them think they are an arrogant pridefull bigget. Or a raging pissed off jackass.

Kaidan: I'm thankful you didn't choose Murder. That would've been awkward, yeah?

Tara: Awkward? Very much so!

Kaidan: Let's do one of those Lightening Round bits...

Blond or Brown hair? Brown
Brown or Blue eyes? Oooo I love a good blue, and even a nice hazel and green!
River, Beach, or Lake? Beach all the way. Nothing like rolling around in the sand and splashing in the salty waves...with a someone special ;)
Dark or Milk Chocolate? Milk, nice creamy and smooth ;)
Soft or Hard (firmness of your teddy bear, of course)? Are you offering to be my teddy bear? Cuz I'll take you up on that offer. I love a nice soft bed to roll around in ;)
Big or Small (type of car you drive, of course)? My my my Kai, you sure are a naughty fella! I drive a small car, although I am meant to drive a larger one.

Kaidan: *laughs* Apparently I’m not the only naughty one. But aren’t you proud of me for keeping it mostly clean? Because I'm quite proud of myself. It's not easy, you know. Especially sitting in such close proximity and listening to you read "swoony bits of snogging." It's been a pleasure learning a few of your...preferences. Thanks for the interview. Best of luck with your blog and sexy books.

Tara: Trust me love, the pleasure really has been all mine. I have really enjoyed our little chat and would love a chance to do it again, any time you wish! Maybe we can turn the tables around and I could grill you ;) and I am very proud you kept it clean, although I must say, maybe next time we can turn up the heat a bit ;)
And anytime you want to listen to me read "swoony bits of snogging" I will be at your service... day or night ;)
*Gets up and plants a nice kiss on Kai’s lips* Mmmm just as I expected, you taste like my favorite pie, key lime...
